The First Art Dining Collaboration Project by G1.ART and Libukbang
This project was inspired by artist Kang Ah Young’s East Asian ink painting series, Stone Pagoda. It presented a special Korean course menu that multi-dimensionally reinterprets the artist's creative world, perfectly paired with complementary traditional Korean liquors and teas.
In particular, the experience was meticulously detailed by serving beverages in handmade ceramic bottles and cups crafted through a collaboration between ceramic artist Chuly Lee and artist Kang Ah Young, themed around the central motif of the artwork—the stone pagoda.
Through a synesthetic experience harmonizing craft arts with a course menu that evolved around the artwork, guests shared a meaningful time connecting deeply with the narrative and emotional warmth captured by the artist.
G1.ART와 리북방의 첫 번째 아트다이닝 콜라보 프로젝트
이번 프로젝트는 강아영 작가의 '돌탑' 동양화 연작에서 영감을 얻어 기획되었습니다. 작가의 작품 세계를 입체적으로 해석한 특별한 한식 코스 요리와 이에 어우러지는 전통주 및 차 페어링을 제공했습니다.
특히 작품의 주요 오브제인 돌탑을 주제로 이철영 도예 작가와 강아영 작가가 협업하여 제작한 수제 도자기 병과 잔에 음료를 서빙하며 디테일을 완성했습니다.
작품을 중심으로 변주되는 코스 요리와 공예품이 어우러진 공감각적 경험을 통해, 작가가 담아낸 서사와 마음의 온도를 한층 깊이 있게 나누는 뜻깊은 시 간을 가졌습니다.
