[Special Lecture on Aesthetics] Understanding Contemporary Art

The GREEN Atelier & Gallery hosted a special lecture on contemporary art led by artist Eun-jung Kong. Addressing the rapidly evolving trends in modern art, the lecture explored perspectives on viewing artworks as well as ways to appreciate and 'own' art. Grounded in the language of art and the mindsets of contemporary artists, the session broke down complex concepts into accessible insights. Drawing on her expertise from studying sculpture at Sungshin Women's University, aesthetics at Hongik University, and her extensive group exhibition record, the instructor guided participants toward a deeper connection with contemporary art. ​The GREEN Atelier & Gallery에서 공은정 작가와 함께 현대미술의 흐름을 짚어보는 특강을 진행했습니다. 빠르게 변화하는 동시대 미술 속에서 작품을 바라보는 시선과 예술을 즐기고 소유하는 방법에 대해 다룬 본 강연에서는 미술의 언어와 작가들의 사고방식을 바탕으로 현대미술을 보다 쉽게 이해하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 성신여대 조소과 및 홍익대 미학과를 졸업하고 다수의 전시 경험을 가진 강사의 깊이 있는 시각을 통해 참가자들에게 예술과의 친밀한 접점을 제공했습니다.
