​We sometimes—or completely—forget that we are part of this immensely beautiful and vast universe. The universe is so wondrous that there is simply no way to tell how much humanity actually understands of it. This is why, when we think of the cosmos, we often feel overwhelmed and, at times, afraid. Perhaps this is precisely why we find the universe beautiful. The things humans consider beautiful usually exist only for a fleeting moment, are destined to perish, or lie beyond the realm of complete comprehension. Yet we forget—sometimes or entirely—that we are a part of this very universe we deem beautiful, and that we too are deeply beautiful because we exist only in a fleeting moment, will inevitably vanish, and dwell beyond the scope of understanding. At this moment, the seven artists gathered here have embodied in their works a deep reflection on the fundamental beauty of ourselves and the relationships we form, each through their own unique perspective and interpretation. Through these artworks, whether by chance or by design, we join together here to create a serene communication in its most dramatic form, right at the center of a universe that transcends time and space. ​ 우리는 가끔 혹은 완전히 우리가 이토록 아름답고 거대한 우주의 일부임을 잊고 삽니다. 우주는 실로 경이로워서, 인간이 우주를 얼마나 이해하고 있는지 도무지 알 길이 없습니다. 그래서 우리는 우주를 떠올릴 때 주로 막막하고 때로 두려워 합니다. 어쩌면 우리는 그래서 우주를 아름답다고 생각하는지도 모르겠습니다. 인간이 아름답다고 여기는 것들은 보통 찰나의 순간에만 존재하거나, 반드시 소멸하거나, 혹은 이해의 영역 밖에 있기 때문입니다. 그런데 우리는, 우리가 우리 스스로 아름답다고 여기는 우주의 일부임을, 그래서 우리 모두가 찰나의 순간에만 존재하고 반드시 소멸하며 이해의 영역 밖에 있기에 너무나도 아름다움을, 가끔 혹은 완전히 잊고 삽니다. 이 순간 여기에 모인 일곱 작가들은 우리 스스로와 우리가 맺는 관계의 근원적 아름다움에 대한 깊은 성찰을 각자만의 시선과 해석으로 작품에 담았습니다. 우리는 여기에서 작품을 통해 우연히, 혹은 우연이 아닌 방법으로 시간과 공간을 초월한 우주의 한 가운데에서 가장 극적인 방식의 고요한 소통을 함께 창조합니다.
