WE ARE ALL AMATEURS ON THE STAGE OF LIFE

Some of us have spent years making art. Some of us have just started.

Yet beyond our different paths, we share one thing: none of us knows exactly how to live.

Life offers no rehearsals. There is no perfect script to follow. We learn by doing—through uncertainty, mistakes, curiosity, and moments of unexpected discovery.

This exhibition brings together members of The GREEN, a community connected not by professional titles, but by a shared desire to create, to question, and to grow.

The works on view are not presented as final statements or polished conclusions. They are traces of becoming—of people who continue to learn, experiment, and find their own voices.

Perhaps that is what it means to be an amateur.

Not someone who lacks skill, but someone who remains open: to wonder, to failure, to change, and to possibility.

On the stage of the world, we are all amateurs.

And maybe that's exactly as it should be.

누군가는 그림을 오래 그렸고,
누군가는 이제 막 붓을 들었다.

누군가는 직업이 예술가이고,
누군가는 하루를 살아낸 뒤 작업실을 찾는다.

하지만 삶이라는 무대 앞에서 우리는 모두 처음이다.

누구도 완벽하게 살아본 적 없고,
누구도 정답을 알고 시작하지 않았다.
실수하고, 배우고, 흔들리고,
조금씩 자신의 이야기를 만들어갈 뿐이다.

이번 전시는 The GREEN이라는 공간에서 함께 시간을 쌓아온 사람들의 기록이다.
기술의 완성도보다 중요한 것은 자신만의 시선과 용기,
그리고 서로의 여정을 응원하는 마음이었다.

우리는 모두 각자의 삶을 연습하며 살아가는 아마추어들이다.
그래서 이 전시는 누군가의 완성된 결과가 아니라,
지금 이 순간에도 계속되고 있는 삶의 한 장면이다.

당신 역시 이 무대 위의 한 사람이다.
그리고 그것만으로 충분하다.
